I want to go fishing, but first I have to tune up my mower, mow the yard, AND fix my boat motor. Do you have manuals for a Toro mower and a Mercury Outboard?
In addition to TCCL’s Clymer print repair manuals listed in our library catalog, library card holders can also access all Clymer manuals from the comfort of your own home.
Find it here at Small Engine Repair. After clicking on Small Engine Repair and entering your library card number, choose Outdoor Power Engines > Walk-Behind Mowers > Toro and finally select your specific model until you have the complete manual.
The same for your boat motor. Choose Marine/Boat Motors > Mercury > your Model. It’s that easy. The last step is to have a fun summer - - - after you mow the yard.
There are HOW many holds on that book? It hasn’t even been released yet!!
Have you ever wondered how there can be so many holds on that hot new title you want before it is even released? Every month we produce a list of bestsellers coming soon to the library and publish it on our web site. Go to the Catalog and select New Titles to find the “Bestsellers – Coming Soon!” list.
The list includes the cover of the book, the release date and a summary. A link is available to each title in our catalog where you can then place a hold on the book to be placed on the list for when it arrives.
If you’re afraid you won’t remember to check for the new list, sign up to have it emailed to you! To get the list by email, just click on the Sign up now link, put a check mark next to “Prepub Bestsellers” (and any other list you want to receive,) scroll to the bottom & enter you email address and click Subscribe.

In this election year, where can I go for reliable, factual information about all aspects of an issue?
CQ Researcher (www.tulsalibrary.org-> Research -> Find Articles -> Alphabetical List of Databases) provides in-depth, non-biased coverage of political and social issues, with regular reports on topics in health, international affairs, education, the environment, technology and the U.S. economy.
Every week a new article is published and In the News reports are offered. Each article includes background and chronology; an assessment of the current situation; tables and maps; pro/con statements from representatives of opposing positions; and bibliographies of key sources. This is an excellent resource for research papers.
