Summer Reading Program Night at the Drillers
As a reward for reading throughout the summer, Buddy Bookworm and Hornsby extend an invitation to families for a free night at the ballpark.
The Drillers will play the Arkansas Travelers starting at 7:05 p.m., July 31. Free general admission tickets to the baseball game are available at all Tulsa City-County Library locations. The Drillers ticket office will upgrade the general admission tickets to reserved seats for $3, or to box seats for $5. To upgrade your ticket, visit the Drillers Box Office at 15th Street and Yale Avenue.
The library’s summer reading program mascot, Buddy Bookworm, will give high fives and sign autographs at the stadium gate. KTUL anchors and reporters will hand out free Drillers insulated lunch bags to the first 1,000 kids ages 14 and younger to arrive at the ballpark. Gates open at 6 p.m.
You also can help make back-to-school easier for area students by bringing supplies to donate to TTCU’s Project School Supplies. All fans who donate school supplies or $5 are eligible to win a portable DVD player, courtesy of TTCU.
For further ticket information, call the Drillers at 744-5901.
