The City of Tulsa is entering election season… we are in need of a new mayor, plus the city auditor and several council seats are being contested.

September 8 is a primary election day and there are quite a few names on both ballots republican and democrat. Luckily the Tulsa World and Tulsa Metro Chamber have asked the candidates a few questions and are sharing the answers with us.

LWV Voters Guide from the Tulsa League of Women Voters.

Tulsa Elections from the Tulsa World provides basic information about each of the candidates. Some candidates have answered a series of issue-related questions provided by the Tulsa World. This page also includes a news feed for all candidate-related news and a council district map.

Candidate Questionnaires from the Tulsa Metro Chamber. In an attempt to inform us of the positions of the candidates regarding specific issues facing our community, the Tulsa Metro Chamber distributed questionnaires to all city council and mayoral candidates running for office in the 2009 election. All returned questionnaires are posted.

For sample ballot, voter registration (the deadline has passed for the primary), absentee ballots and more, contact the Tulsa County Election Board at 918.596.5780.
